Steam power has returned to the Severn Valley Railway after part of the line was destroyed by last year’s floods.
The attractions, based between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, was partially closed when the line was washed away.
But tireless work by volunteers has enabled trains to start running into the county once again – and as our video journalist Richard Tisdale discovered, the general public are impressed.

i will be up in shropshire in april,june and october and plan to ride the line. it really needs support to make up for last years poor takings. this is shropshires premier tourist attraction and needs support from every one
