Man held in custody

A 21-year-old man accused of robbing a woman member of staff at a Telford newsagents was remanded in custody today.
Robert Mather Cole, of Weston-under-Lizard, Shifnal, will next appear in court on February 25 when his case is expected to be committed to crown court.
He appeared at Shrewsbury Magistrates Court today accused of robbing Kimberley Smith of £605 at Martins newsagents, in Madeley, last Wednesday and having an imitation firearm in his possession at the time.
