Fancy dress shop hit by blaze
Tuesday 5th February 2008, 11:39AM GMT.
Fire ripped through a Bridgnorth fancy dress shop destroying hundreds of pound worth of clothing.
The blaze started on the first floor of The Party People fancy dress and party shop in Central Court, just off High Street, at 5.40pm yesterday.
Firefighters battled for about three hours to bring the blaze under control. Crews had to break through the ground floor door to reach the fire, which started accidentally. No-one was injured.
The shop was closed this morning.

I was there trying on a clown outfit and i tried to help but by bucket of water just had glitter in it.Then the leading firefighter fell over my long clown shoes and my curly orange wig went up,it was chaos.Fireworks going off and the pantomime horse was terrified.
So glad everyone was ok.
