Appeal over lopsided snap
Saturday 2nd February 2008, 11:39AM GMT.

Paul France, of Coalbrookdale, e-mailed in this photo of a mystery group, probably in the Ironbridge area, as the photographer was W.S. Allcock of Ironbridge.
“You’d think he’d have found a level bit of ground before taking the picture,” says Paul.
It may be though that the ground is more level than it looks, and that the camera was at an angle (seems unlikely) or this is just how it was printed up. Can anybody recognise the group, or the location, or pinpoint the date?
There are other pictures by W.S. Allcock, which are from Edwardian times, but from the fashions this photo may have been taken in the Victorian era.
