Darran Kempson gets up well, beating Matthew Clarke. Shrewsbury Town scored two away goals but were always chasing the game as Bradford put four past them.

The Shrews were behind as early as the seventh minute with a goal from Kyle Nix and were 2-0 down at half time after Omar Daley netted.

Dave Hibbert pulled one back early in the second half, but Bradford extended their lead with a Peter Thorne goal on 57 minutes.

Marc Pugh grabbed a second Shrews goal on 65 minutes but the hosts’ victory was sealed with a Barry Conlon penalty after Darran Kempson fouled David Wetherall.
