The Grinshill Animal Rescue centre is home to 25 dogs who are all looking for somewhere to live.

Video journalist Tom Moore went along to find out about some of the dogs there and spoke to centre owner Jenny Martinez about how you go about rehoming a dog from the centre.

I have had several rescue dogs from NCDL at Roden. It can be hard work, but with love and patience very worthwhile. My last dog, Holly, was put to sleep at the age of 16, coming with me from Roden, at the age of 4. I was heartbroken.
I now have another rescue dog from
Dogwatch in Christchurch and she is proving to be a delight and so loving. Please think about giving a rescue dog a good home. They give you so much more than you can ever give them.
