30 jobs for grabs at store

Jingling tills - a busy start to the day for checkout staff at Asda, Donnington WoodThirty jobs are on offer as part of a multi-million scheme to create an extra floor at a Telford supermarket.

Workers are needed to stock the shelves during a huge internal re-organisation taking place at night at Asda’s Donnington Wood branch.

A mezzanine area, lift and travellator are being installed at the store in a £12 million scheme over the next six months.

Dave Simmons, store manager, said today: “We are going to have about 30 vacancies for night colleagues. They will be working four or five nights a week from mid-February to June.

“The work is mainly replenishing shelves on the shop floor during the evenings in all departments.”
