Welshpool railway station - 1906.

Welcome to Welshpool railway station, as it was, a little over 100 years ago.

This view is from a postcard which was franked on August 29, 1906.

The message on the back was: “Many thanks for ppc. Don’t bother to put them in envelopes as they charge another penny if they are. How are you getting on? I am too busy to write a letter but I thought you would wonder why I didn’t write. Best love, from M. Littlejohn.”

It was posted to Ada Richards, of Headless Cross, Redditch.
