The Rock House Inn - 1930s. But where?

Telford historian Allan Frost is throwing down the gauntlet once again to our readers with this photo which he has e-mailed in.

He knows that it shows the Rock House Inn, and thinks it looks as if it was taken in the 1930s.

“But I haven’t a clue where,” he says. “The only Rock House I know about was at Farley, near Much Wenlock, but this pub pictured doesn’t look at all like the present building – which is no longer a pub.

“This photo could have been taken anywhere within or beyond Shropshire’s borders.”
