Firefighters show off trophy

Our regular contributor, Shrewsbury author and historian David Trumper, has a special personal interest in this picture of firefighters from yesteryear – his father is among them.
This is the Shrewsbury firefighters team which won a cup for breathing apparatus drill. The location may be the West Mid Showground, Shrewsbury, and the date is 1950s.
