Tibberton go cup goal crazy

Tibberton United ran riot against Loppington when they turned over the visitors 16-2 in their second round Wem Powell Cup clash at the Butler Sports Centre in Wem.
Jamie Evans struck a double hat-trick with team mate O’neil Lewis scoring five times. Also adding their names to the team sheet were, Andy Rich (2), Gavin King, Mark Palmer, and Alex Brawford.
Powell Cup officials confirmed that last night’s result was a record breaker, which was good news for club secretary and manager Dave Medlyn who along with the players were busy celebrating the club’s biggest win since their formation 10 years ago.
