Meet your snooker heroes

Up for grabs is a pair of tickets for the final, plus backstage passes and a snooker cue signed by the players.

The second most prestigious tournament in the world is making its debut in Telford so we are offering this unique prize to our readers.

The event runs at Telford International Centre from December 8 to 16.

It will bring the world’s top players including Ronnie O’Sullivan, Stephen Hendry, Steve Davis, defending champion Peter Ebdon and current world champion John Higgins.

To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is send us a video of yourself playing a favourite trick shot.

The person who sends in the best clip, as judged by the Shropshire Star panel, will win the final tickets, pass and cue.

The UK Championship, sponsored by electronics retailer Maplin, has a history dating back to 1977 and offers a top prize of £100,000.
