Apple festival to bring cheer

apple1.jpgOrganisers of an apple festival in Tenbury Wells are hoping it will bring the community together following a summer of misery.

The town was badly hit by floods throughout the summer, but it is hoped the Applefest on Saturday will bring some cheer.

Chris Dell, Tenbury Wells Tourism Group chairman, said: “The event is a great opportunity to bring everyone together and it’s a chance for people to work with the council for the common good of the town.

“It’s exactly what we need to get back on track after the problems we’ve had this summer.”

The event begins with a car boot sale on the Burgage from 8am, while Tenbury Museum will be open from 10.30am-1pm.

The main Applefest runs from 11am-6.30pm. Attractions include music, dancing, songs, juggling, bee keeping, a craft fair and a street party with a pig roast.

Actually Barry Crook should actually read the web site and actually the actual flyers before making actual derogatory comments, actually.

I was reading the above article actually! and maybe being a bit sarcastic that the whole article actually doesn’t actually mention apples at all! Ian if you have any inteligence, you will notice I was asking a question not making a comment! You can tell this by my use of a question mark after the last letter of my statement.
