A knotty problem for Carrie

Is this what Sarah Jessica Parker calls tying the knot? The Sex and the City star added a rather unusual fashion accessory to her wedding dress during filming of the eagerly awaited movie.
But the sweatshirt which she tied around her shoulders won’t be seen on the screen – she was only shielding herself from biting winds in between takes on the streets of New York yesterday.
The tumultuous love life of her character Carrie Bradshaw has enthralled fans since Sex and the City debuted on the TV screen in 1998 – and now it seems she is finally getting married.
Parker has been shooting wedding scenes at New York’s St Patrick’s Cathedral in an extravagant strapless Vivienne Westwood gown.
But judging by the photos shot on the location yesterday, marriage to her on-off lover, played by Chris Noth, doesn’t quite go to plan – she was seen attacking him with a bouquet of white roses, before being bundled sobbing into the back of a car.
Carrie’s best friends Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda, played by Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon, were all on hand to try to calm the situation.
