Bodie breaks his silence

Bodie the African Grey parrot has been entertaining residents at Bennett House residential home in Telford with a range of witty sayings, songs and whistles.

He was brought in by the home’s owners, Accord Housing Association, as part of the Eden Project to help pensioners cope with old age.

But the feathered friend has not been so willing for the visiting media pack, who covered the story this weekend for TV and radio.

At last, however, we managed to get some of his sounds on camera – so what did he have to say, or sing?
