Demolition work has begun on Shrewsbury Town’s former Gay Meadow stadium.
The operation will see the riverside ground replaced by a new housing development, following the club’s move to its new £10 million home.
The first parts of the ground to be pulled down were the internal fittings, with further work expected later this month to demolish the stands.
Video Journalist Tom Moore was on hand to record the beginning of the end for the ground.

Always enjoyed a trip there with Peterborough United.
Despite new facilities it must be heartbreaking for lifelong fans to see it go.
