Footie game starts on Saturday
Wednesday 15th August 2007, 11:40AM BST.
Fans still have time to enter the Shropshire Star’s new Fantasy Football game, which has a £2,000 top prize and starts on August 18.
Don’t worry if you haven’t decided on your team yet. Our competition doesn’t kick off until Saturday, giving you the chance to study the form of the top players in the first two rounds of fixtures before making your choice.
More than 1,600 people have already registered to play this season’s game, organised in association with Wickes.
It is free to enter and boasts a top prize of £2,000, along with 10 manager of the month prizes of £100.
So if you fancy yourself as a rival to Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho or Rafael Benitez, this is your chance to prove it.
Signing up is easy. Just visit www.shropshirestar.com/fantasyfootball and enter the registration password: Wembley
