McFly to perform in town

Chart-toppers McFly are bringing their Greatest Hits tour to Telford.
The band will play at Telford International Centre on October 12 to promote a Greatest Hits So Far album due for release in November.
The concert will be for fans 14 and over.
The band themselves – Tom Fletcher, 22, Danny Jones, 21, Dougie Poynter, 19, and Harry Judd, 21 – hit the big time in 2004 after Fletcher was rejected by rivals Busted.
They have so far notched up seven number one singles and two number one albums.
Joanne Parton, from the centre, said: “Tickets will go on sale on August 18 at 10am. Details of the number of tickets that will be available from The International Centre will be confirmed next week.
“We’re delighted that McFly have chosen Telford for one of their appearances, and we’re pleased that our reputation as a concert venue is helping us to attract major music acts.”

I love mcfly but i am 12 and i am not happy that the concert is for 14′s and over that is so not fair they are my fave band and ive always wanted to see them, so why can’t i, wot cuz im too young?! Why just over 14′s!!!!???

I’ve run the venue and under 14′s are allowed in the concert – but they have to buy seated tickets. They will not be allowed in the standing area.
