Shrewsbury Town began life at the New Meadow with a pre-season friendly against the A-Line All-Stars team.
The side, which included stars such as Gianfranco Zola and Gustavo Poyet, was managed by the legendary Ron Atkinson.
But for once, the players took a back seat as the new ground took the limelight.
