Leave past where it belongs

Slavery! What Slavery? I have never owned nor been responsible for slaves. Having worked until retirement from 16-65 years, I think that the word might well apply to all of us.

The real question to be answered is why Britain has suddenly sparked clerics who feel from their lofted positions they can start muck raking amid the distant past to put a racist face on “the man in the street”.

Talk about racism, you couldn’t get anything more disturbingly racist than bringing up that subject today.

The next thing you know relatives of Bodacea will be having a go at the French because of 1066 and all that!

The worst thing about all this is the fact that our beautiful lady Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth should be involved.

Our brave wartime lady who will always receive my great admiration should never have been put in such a ridiculous position.

So I say to religious bodies, concentrate our prayers for the living, what is past is history.

    Slaves of ALL Colours Suffered

I have been reading with great interest of late regarding the call for Black slavery reparations and of the International Slavery Remembrance Day of August 23rd.

Whilst I abhor slavery of any form, why is it that we are not hearing any news about the 1 million White slave victims under Muslim masters between 1500 and 1800?

What about the White slavery in Early America and Industrial Britain? What about the fact that mainly people of Jewish origin owned the slave ships and where the main players peddling the business and making money? Why no official memorial day or calls for reparations for Whites?

Admittedly, our White ancestors committed to slavery in the Mediterranean, the Barbary Coast and Italy are outnumbered by those of Blacks 12-1 but is this slavery any less important? Certainly the conditions and treatment were no different.

Focusing on one type of slavery simply because of skin colour is racism itself. White slavery is even going on in Israel today but this is seldom covered in the media! I wonder why Mt. Blair?

We must also remember that Blacks themselves were highly responsible for selling their own people into slavery.

When you conduct real research, Blacks, Whites and Jews were responsible and time hasn’t changed today – Just conduct non-PC research and you will see.

I don’t ask for reparations and I don’t ask for apologies – I simply ask for an equal voice, is that so wrong?

I think you will find that Bodacea was frightfully annoyed at the Romans … Not the Normans and if it comes to it …. What about the long History of the White Slave Trade …. Where do you think the Word “Slave” came from ….. From people of Slavic origin. I think the Politically Correct Lunatics would do well to keep Stum on this Subject … by trying to Demonise all of us they are Truly Opening a Huge can of Worms………….

Well said, what is done is done, and no amount of apologies can make up for it. We’ve all done things we regret.
