Telford & Wrekin must wait at least another week before confirming their promotion to English hockey’s top flight after they drew 2-2 with promotion rivals Mansfield at St Georges.
The Shropshire champions needed a win to become Shropshire’s first-ever side to reach the National League, after leading the DTZ Midlands Premier for most of the season.
But Saturday’s result means they still need one point from their last two games – starting with another home match against third-placed West Bridgford next weekend.
