Mystery of cash find

Police are trying to find the owners of a “substantial” amount of money found on a grass verge.
The cash was discovered by a member of the public earlier this month in Greenfields Crescent, Shifnal.
Sergeant Mark Rock, of Shifnal police station, said police were baffled as to where the money came from and he praised the woman for handing it in.
“It is something of a mystery,” he said. “We would obviously like the rightful owner to come forward.”
