Rail chaos over strike

Shropshire commuters could face rail chaos after it was announced hundreds of senior conductors at Central Trains are to strike on February 24 in a row over rotas.
The Rail Maritime and Transport union said more than 550 staff will walk out.
The union had ordered industrial action to start next Monday, including a refusal to issue tickets or provide cover at different depots but claimed the firm threatened to stop the pay of those involved.
It is not clear how the strike will affect Shropshire rail users, although the union has warned some services may not run.
