Christmas shouldn’t be a stress

Christmas time is a very stressful and busy time of the year, especially for teenagers and young adults, writes our Teen Blogger Rhian.
Simply because they feel the need to buy presents for their family and friends, which is a big strain on teenagers especially when Christmas is important to them.
The side effects are that they are stressing and panicking on what to buy for their family and friends when really they should be enjoying Christmas like every other child should be.
I feel teenagers should be a little bit more relaxed and realise they’re not in full time work and don’t need to splash out on expensive gifts just to prove a point, when really anything is good enough.
I think it’s harder for some teenagers who get little help at college, for example EMA (education maintenance allowance), which I feel is unfair because the majority of my friends get £30 a week and some only recieve £10 a week.
So for all the teenagers out there who are struggling just chill out and enjoy Christmas – it’s meant for you too.
