Money for EU but not for needy

And we now have further evidence that the politicians have finally managed to drag the UK down to the level of a third world country. Apparently we can no longer fund the £2.50 per day to treat the sufferers of Alzheimer’s. This amounts to about £230 million per year.
Well, if this is the case we can no longer afford the £115 million fee each week for membership of the federal EU corruption club.
I would wish for my taxes to pay for help to the ill and needy – not to be squandered building European castles in the air.
And what about the chief executive of Nice (the Government body who pontificate on drugs issues) – the arrogance of the man. He seems to think his knowledge is greater than that of the medical specialists and experts.
In my experience, Alzheimer’s is not only the dreadful circumstances in which the sufferers exist but also the tremendous burden carried by the carers.
If drugs are withheld the consequences cause additional work, anxiety and stress for the carer.
Because the politicians have failed perhaps we might ask the people to bring common sense to bear.
