Big Brother pair hunt for ghosts
Tuesday 10th October 2006, 8:01PM BST.
The pair will be acting as ghostbusters on the Welsh language TV show Ofn! (Fear!), a spine-tingling children’s series on S4C.
The series returns on Halloween, October 31, at 4.25pm to take a closer look at some of Wales’s most famous haunted houses. Ofn! features a number of historical locations all linked with ghosts, with past series having visited the Skirrid Inn near Abergavenny, Llancaiach Fawr near Caerphilly, Maes Artro, Harlech, Craig y Nos, Abercrave, Nant Eos, near Aberystwyth, Bodelwyddan Castle, Plas Teg near Mold and Beaumaris Gaol.
Each week a team of young researchers join presenters Branwen Gwyn and Rhodri Owen at a building where they use special technical equipment to explore the unknown.
At the stroke of midnight, a computer will choose one of the presenters and a member of the team to go into the building with cameras.
In a Christmas special of Ofn!, to be broadcast on December 19, BB7′s Welsh duo will venture into the unknown.
They will visit the 700-year-old medieval fortress of Chirk Castle and, with the help of pupils from Ysgol Morgan Llwyd, Wrexham, and two winners from an S4C magazine programme Uned 5 competition, will go on the trail of spooky sightings.
