Big interest in dispersal sale

The sale at Woodhouse Farm, Priorslee, Telford was conducted by Shropshire auctioneers Halls on behalf of Lord Stafford’s Estates following a change of farming policy.

The quality condition of the machinery and implements on offer resulted in a series of excellent prices, including £77,500 and £74,000 for two 2003 Claas Lexion 450 Evolution combines, £60,000 for a 2004 Fendt 926 TMS Vario tractor, £51,000 for a 2002 Bateman RB25 self-propelled sprayer, £44,000 and £43,000 for two 2005 John Deere 7820 four-wheel-drive tractors, £15,500 for a JCB 2135 Fastrac, £11,000 for a 2005 Simba Uni Press, £10,500 for a JCB 525-67 Farm Special Plus loadall and £5,000 for a 2004 set of Opico 820 Rolls 8.2-metre vari flex roller.

“Buyers travelled from all over the country because of the high quality machinery and implements on offer in this successful sale,” said auctioneer Nick Hyne.

“There was keen competition throughout the auction, with many of the lots going to Shropshire bidders.”
