Work on busy route to end

Telford & Wrekin Council is introducing a bus gate on Haybridge Road, by the junction with the New Bucks Head Stadium access road, to restrict southbound traffic.
The scheme was put forward to discourage rat- running traffic along Haybridge Road, while maintaining access for buses, taxis, motorcyclists and cyclists. It also includes a new crossing for pedestrians.
Work is expected to finish on Wednesday when the road should reopen to traffic.
Motorists wanting to enter Telford College of Arts and Technology and the New Bucks Head will have to do so from Haybridge roundabout.
