Nick Wheeler The lecture, Keep your shirt on: building a business of quality, value and service, will tell how Charles Tyrwhitt grew from annual sales of £30,000 in 1989 to today, with sales forecast to reach £55 million in the coming year.

The company now employs more than 300 people, with shops in London, France and New York. Internet sales now account for 35 per cent of business and 50 per cent of production is exported.

Charles Tyrwhitt now has three shops in London, two at designer outlet villages, one in France and one in New York.

The event is organised by the University Business School in association with the Chartered Management Institute.
