Air rescue for fall boy

Monday 28th August 2006, 7:20AM BST.

The youngster, from Birmingham, was with his parents on a ramble near Carding Mill Valley.

He slipped on rocks and suffered a deep cut. A spokesman for the County Air Ambulance said the youngster the area was inaccessible by land ambulance.

“He had got quite a deep cut to his abdomen, though it wasn’t life threatening.”
