Long established high street retail recruitment company Vision Service Retail Service, has good reason to be grateful to the Shropshire Star.
The company has recently launched a Commercial Division known as VRS Personnel, aimed at local workers and employers. They have found the response to advertising in the Star exceeds their expectations. “One recent advertisement in the job section produced over 40 calls, a very encouraging response for any new company wanting to make its mark in the Telford area” said Isobel Fidmont newly appointed Commercial Recruitment Manager.
The company which focuses on IT Personnel and Office Staff, including PA’s, Secretaries, Administration Staff and Accounts, was delighted with the quality and breadth of experience of the people calling or phoning in to register.
This is not the first time Isobel has been called upon to use her strong interpersonal and managerial skills at the forefront of a new business. “Before moving to Shropshire I had the challenge of setting up a Commercial Recruitment Company in the London area” says Isobel, who subsequently came to Shropshire in 2001 with her fiancé Matt and daughter Chantelle. “What I like about Shropshire is the vibrant, positive attitude to business and the friendly people, especially at the Shropshire Star” she continued, “there can be no doubt that we will continue to advertise in the Shropshire Star to help us continue our very positive start in the commercial market”.
