Charlie Sheen revealed he has no bad feelings towards his Two And A Half Men replacement Ashton Kutcher.

Despite early fears that the troubled star wouldn’t be on his best behaviour at the Emmy Awards, where he presented the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series award to The Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons, the duo were spotted taking a photo with one another and being pally backstage.

Charlie, 46, later tweeted: “Giving the new kid a little advice..! With @aplusk backstage at the Emmy’s. Seriously… @aplusk great talking to you! We’ll all be watching! Make us proud!!”

Ashton replied: “@charliesheen good to meet you too. Wishing you the best on your new gig.”

Charlie, who played ladies’ man Charlie Harper on the US sitcom before being dismissed in March, insisted he bore no grudges to the show.

He said on stage: “From the bottom of my heart, I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season. We spent eight wonderful years together and I know you will continue to make great television.”

His co-star Jon Cryer said he had converted to the “cult of Ashton”, and promised audiences they would adapt to the casting change when the show’s new series starts in the UK on September 20.

“I’m so excited, he’s awesome. I’m already converted to the cult of Ashton. I’m so excited, you will be too,” he told Ryan Seacrest on E!.

But Jon remained loyal to Charlie: “I loved working with him. We worked together before the show – we did Hot Shots together – and I hope someday we’ll work together again.”
