Moss hails ‘lovely’ Mulberry show
Monday 19th September 2011, 9:50AM BST.
Supermodel Kate Moss has given her seal of approval to a new collection unveiled at London Fashion Week.
The model hailed the Mulberry spring-summer 2012 collection as “lovely” as she attended her first catwalk show of the fashion extravaganza.
Kate, who was wearing an all-in-one denim number and a black trilby hat, was spotted sitting on the front row of the show next to actress Kristen Stewart.
“It was lovely,” she said before being rushed backstage.
Kristen, who rose to fame through her role in the Twilight saga, admitted she was a big fan of British fashion, and said of the show: “Oh man, it was great.”
The pair watched the show, which was held in the ballroom of Claridge’s hotel in Mayfair, central London, and laughed when a model wearing a raincoat stalked down the catwalk with a dog – wearing a matching coat – in tow.
The fun and quirky collection, which was inspired by British summertime, left many spectators longing for next season.
Showing that they were prepared for the British summer weather, the designers created a number of stylish rain macs and jackets.
