Carol Decker pulls out of Buttermarket launch
Singer Carol Decker has pulled out of tonight's launch of the newly revamped Buttermarket nightclub in Shrewsbury after losing her voice.
The T'Pau star told nightclub bosses last night she would not be able to perform at the opening of the venue on Howard Street, which has undergone a £2 million transformation.
But club owner Martin Monahan said she will be replaced on the line-up with 80s acts Five Star and Go West.
Bosses are expecting a sell out crowd of nearly 2,000 people at the VIP launch which opens to the public at 8pm.

Frankly...that line-up is a disappointment considering it's the celebration of a prestige million pound re-launch. This doesn't bode well...prove me totally wrong Martin
