Gervais is usually a comedy genius, but on this he misses the mark.

The problem is that we know what Ricky is like in real life, so when we see him playing the character we cant get past seeing it as him mocking disabled people.

The show was entirely unfunny, and should have been billed as a drama, not comedy.

Karl Pilkington plays himself and adds nothing with his unfunny rants.

All in all, Channel 4 should fire their head of comedy for this rubbish. They need to raise their game, as both the BBC and Sky are fielding a strong comedy line up this year.
