Ed Sheeran tickets for Birmingham show on resale for £600 after tour sells out

Following the release of tickets at 10.00am this morning, tickets for Ed Sheeran's headline arena tour have sold out with tickets on resale sites on sale for over £600.

Set to be one of the most highly-anticipated tours of 2017, Ed Sheeran announced he'll be bringing his worldwide tour to the Barclaycard Arena on April 28 and 29.

Tickets went onsale at 10.00am this morning and it was announced at 10.40am this morning that tickets were sold out.

People have taken to Twitter to air their disappointment after entering a queue on the ticket website and not receiving tickets.

Pre-sale for Celine Dion's headline arena tour also went on sale this morning at 10.00am, causing queues online as thousands of fans tried to get tickets to multiple shows.

Tickets on resale websites for Ed Sheeran's tour are priced at over £200, with the original tickets being priced at £77.80

Tickets are on sale for more than double their original price

The news of his headline arena tour comes after his 2017 musical comeback, with Sheeran releasing dual singles Shape Of You and Castle On The Hill that have hit the number one and number two spots across the charts worldwide.
