Olly Murs to play Wrexham Racecourse Ground
X-Factor star Olly Murs is bringing his tour to the region next summer.
The singer is the latest big name set to take to the stage at the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham, following the venue being packed out after Welsh rockers Stereophonics played there earlier this year.
Wrexham AFC, along with partners LHG Live and Orchard Entertainment announced Murs will perform at the stadium on Mold Road on June 24 as part of his summer UK Tour.
Murs shot to fame in 2009 after appearing as a contestant on hit ITV show The X-Factor, finishing as runner-up.
He released his latest album, 24 Hrs, earlier this year.
Olly Murs said: "I am thrilled to play at the Racecourse ground in Wrexham.
"Outdoor shows are so much fun and I am looking forward to performing my biggest songs on my biggest outdoor tour."
Tickets for Olly Murs in Wrexham go on general sale on Friday at 9am.
Tickets are priced at £39.50 plus booking fee, which is for general admission, and £55 plus booking fee for the platinum enclosure.
