Thousands of people are expected to head to the show tomorrow.

Gary Wellburn, marketing manager for the show, said: "It's been going for a number of years – we've raised over £60,000 for charities.

"We're expecting about 3,000 people so hopefully it'll raise even more."

The show's origins date back to 2005 when an annual produce show began raising money for local causes, then in 2011 Beckbury Show was formed. In 2009 the event expanded and there is now a wide range of country events and activities on offer.

The main arena will feature a number of attractions. This year's entertainment includes the pony club mounted games, a falconry display and have-a-go clay shoot.

The entertainment stage will bring music to the visitors, with local entertainers taking to the stage. This year the kids' corner has been extended and includes a bouncy castle, and slide, funfair rides, face painting, and a children's tombola.

For the adults there will be displays of classic cars and motorbikes, BMWs, vintage tractors and military vehicles.

The Shropshire Land Rover owners' club will be there too.

There will be the chance to ride the Chief, a restored 1875 Fowler Ploughing Steam Engine, around the field.

There will be refreshments including a Shropshire hog roast, a barbecue and bar.
