Hundreds attend Weston-under-Redcastle Village Show to raise Childline cash

A dog show, assault course, jazz band and donkey rides were just some of the attractions at an annual village show.

Weston-under-Redcastle Village Show, took place near Wem yesterday, at the Citadel Showground.

Hundreds of people attended to make the most of the good weather over the weekend.

With stalls, vintage cars, a helicopter, children's races and Punch and Judy, the popular fundraiser collected money for NSPCC ChildLine and other local causes. Families enjoyed touring the attractions, listening to music and eating good food.

Over the past seven years, the show has collected over £65,000 for charity.
