Gregynog Hall at Tregynon, near Newtown, has an Easter bunny trail which will run from Good Friday to Easter Monday, and there will also be a guided tour teaching about the history of the hall, as well as a precision laser-shooting gallery and demonstrations by Montgomeryshire Beekeepers on Sunday.

The bunny trail, which costs £3 per child including a gift, runs from 11am to 3pm each day and takes youngsters on a route through fields and woods looking for clues. There will be an opportunity for visitors to have a photograph taken with the biggest Easter bunnies in Montgomeryshire.

Gregynog Hall's resident librarian, Mary Oldham, will lead the general tour of the hall on Sunday at 2.30pm. Advance booking is recommended and visitors can enjoy lunch or afternoon tea in the Courtyard Cafe.

Newtown-based U Strike makes its first visit to the hall on Sunday to put on the precision laser-shooting gallery, with budding marksmen invited to take 20 shots for £1.

Also on Sunday, members of Montgomeryshire Beekeepers will be giving a practical demonstration at Gregynog's apiary.

The shop and Courtyard Cafe will be open during all the Easter events and visitors will also have a chance to explore the grade-I listed gardens and a network of walking trails through the 750-acre Gregynog estate
