Top local musicians were on the bill at the weekend event at the Kings Head and Stable Bar on Whitburn Street.

The annual event was in aid of the Severn Hospice and Cancer Research.

Anna Zartarian-Walsh, from the Kings Head, said: "It went very well, we're still counting the money but it should be near £1,000 which is really good."

The event, which ran from 2pm onwards on Sunday attracted people from around the county, which Ms Zartarian-Walsh said was helped by the unseasonably good weather.

She said: "The day was really busy, particularly after 4pm. The weather was nice for us which really helped.

"We had a lot of people visiting, they were all very pleased with how it went and said we had a really nice range of music.

"All the performers said they really enjoyed themselves and there was a good turn-out for all of them, which was great."

The festival is held by the pub every year. Acts involved included Rhi Moore, Cooper and Davies, Audio Thieves, Dave Busby, Some Buka and the Salopian Dudes.
