Everything from Lee Nelson to Showaddywaddy is on offer to audiences at Oakengates Theatre @ The Place during the autumn and winter season.

The visit of Sky Living clairvoyant Sally Morgan on November 21 is already sold out, as fans flock to hear her thoughts on the spirit world.

Music fans can enjoy everything from pop to folk and rock and roll, as well as a wide variety of tribute bands.

Let's Hang On, a tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, is on September 20 followed by a Motown and soul show with Back 2 Miami on September 28 and Irish songstress Mary Duff on September 29.

Seventies rockers Showaddywaddy head to Telford on October 26 before tribute acts Halfway to Paradise, remembering the songs of Billy Fury, and Money for Nothing, with the music of Dire Straits, play on October 29 and November 8 respectively.

Irish folk-based favourites Brendan Shine and Dominic Kirwan play on October 30 and November 7 respectively, and on November 15 the Johnny Cash Roadshow will be homage to the country music legend.

Classical dance fans can watch Vienna Festival Ballet's production of Snow White on October 25, and the tempo will rise on November 16 for a Night of Dirty Dancing.

For children, The Elephant Bridesmaid on September 21 is a fun retelling of the best-selling book How the Koala Learnt to Hug, while CBeebies star Andy Day will take to the stage in Andy and Mike's Tick Tock Time Machine on October 20.

It kicks off with The Gruffalo's Child on August 27 and 28, a retelling of Julia Donaldson's favourite book to appeal to children aged three and over. The Shakespeare Schools Festival, on October 14, is a chance for some of the borough's talented young actors to show off their skills in specially abridged versions of some of the Bard's best-known plays.

The programme also features some one-night-only opportunities to see some of the country's top comedians including Lee Nelson on October 3, Ed Byrne on October 22, Ardal O'Hanlon on October 31 and Mock The Week star Milton Jones on November 20.

The season ends with the month-long run of the pantomime Aladdin, produced again by the theatre and Paul Holman Associates.

It stars Asa Elliott from ITV's Benidorm in the title role, and newcomer Jade Chaston as Princess Jasmine.

Some of the shows have age restrictions because of their adult content.
