The teenage trio - Aliana Chambers, Beth Jones and Fiona MacKellar - were due to perform at Concord College in Acton Burnell on Saturday night, but the gig will be rescheduled for the near future.

Band manager Hugh Chambers, said: "One of the girls was involved in a minor car accident on Friday night and although not badly hurt, she wasn't well enough to perform.

"She's going to be absolutely fine though and the concert will be re-arranged very soon. The car was being driven by her father at the time.

"They were really looking forward to this concert and I know they will be keen to get the new date in the diary as soon as possible."

In a message to fans on their Facebook page, the group announced: "The gig at Acton Burnell tonight has been postponed due to an accident last night!

"We are really sorry to everyone that has bought tickets to come, but it shall hopefully be rescheduled and your ticket will still be valid.

"We will post more details as we know about them! Thank you for all of your support - NCB ?"

The band, originally formed as a quartet in 2010 at Ellesmere's Lakelands School, reformed as a trio in February 2012 and began recording.

Along with a number of extras, the band took over Shrewsbury Coffeehouse for nine hours last year to shoot the video for their single The Coffee Song.
