Stone Roses could play V Festival 2012

The Stone Roses are being lined up to headline next year’s V Festival at Weston Park, it emerged today.
It has been rumoured that the band, made up of Ian Brown, John Squire, Gary “Mani” Mounfield and Alan “Reni” Wren, will headline the festival on August 18 and 19.
Although there has been no official confirmation from festival bosses, sources today said the band were “a massive draw” for the event.
The Mancunian legends recently announced their return with three massive shows.
