Extra Oliver! rehearsals for Shrewsbury Operatic Society

Shrewsbury Amateur Operatic Society has scheduled extra rehearsals after seeing several fall victim to the weather.

With the production just six weeks away, the whole cast of the society’s Oliver! will be required for the extra rehearsal on January 9 from 10am to 4pm.

And a rehearsal scheduled for January 16 has been extended by an hour to 5pm.

The first rehearsal of the new year will be on Wednesday at Belvidere School, in Shrewsbury, at 7pm.

Secretary Angela Davies said: “Due to the weather two rehearsals prior to Christmas were cancelled. It is imperative that everyone attends every rehearsal right up to the show.”

Oliver!, the society’s first play at Theatre Severn, will be performed from February 10 to 12.
