Treasure Island at Bridgnorth Theatre on the Steps
Wednesday 29th December 2010, 2:08PM GMT.
A Shropshire theatre is making final preparations for its pantomime.
The Theatre on the Steps, in Bridgnorth, will be opening its doors for Treasure Island from January 6.
It has once again been written by Alan P Frayn, with some special additions especially for the Theatre on the Steps.
Long John Silver, played by Paul Roberts, is aided and abetted by sidekicks Sea Snake Sally – Sarah Britton – and Blind Ali – Phil Henshaw – as they attempt to obtain the treasure buried by Captain Flint, before Squire Pendragon, played by Iain Reddihough and Jim, played by Jenny Mison, lay claim to the fortune.
The pantomime is on Thursday, Friday, Fridays and Saturdays at 7.30pm throughout January with a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday.
Tickets, at £9 and £8 concessions, are available at the TIC, Bridgnorth Library, (01746) 763257.
