Britain’s Got Talent finalists – Tina and Chandi – will be bow-wowing the crowds at this year’s Shrewsbury Flower Show when they take centre stage to provide visitors with a close up of their canine dancing routine.

Visitors will be treated to their repertoire of tricks in the main arena on August 13 and 14.

Tina Humphrey, 37, who is a music teacher from Shrewsbury, rescued her border collie, Chandi, from the dog pound when she was just four months old.

The duo clinched the highest public vote in their Britain’s Got Talent debut which featured Simon Cowell and former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan on the judging panel.

Mike Carver, chairman of Shropshire Horticultural Society, organisers of Shrewsbury Flower Show, said the show will provide the perfect platform for the dancing duo to perform one of their famous routines.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome Tina and Chandi to the show. Visitors are sure to find the pair a great attraction.

“Combine this with our winning formula of floral wealth and original arts and crafts and it really is set to be the best show yet. Over the past 123 years, the Shrewsbury Flower Show has developed to become much more than a flower show.”

In addition to its three million blooms, show gardens and large horticultural section, there is also a large events arena featuring equestrian competitions.

And orgainsers are promising fun for all the family with children’s entertainment and a large variety of exhibitors from arts and crafts to home baking.
