Boot camp set up to help young people into business

A ‘boot camp’ aimed at encouraging young people into the world of business has been launched in south Shropshire.

Employ-A-Billy-T has been set up to help people aged 18 to 25 develop skills needed to attract employers.

It is hoped the scheme will eventually spread across the whole county.

It has been set up by four business leaders in Ludlow with the aim of helping people make the transition from education to the world of work and to help people get jobs during the current economic climate.

The scheme was officially launched at a reception at Fishmore Hall, near Ludlow, last night.
