Oswestry’s work club is urging more unemployed people to use the facilities on offer.

The club, supported by Shropshire Council, meets once a fortnight in Oswestry Library.

Computers and access to the internet are available and advice is available on searching for jobs, putting together a CV and other information.

A spokesman for the work club stressed: “It is a chance to meet people, share experiences and also get help with returning to work.

“We have people of all ages and all experiences coming along.”

The club is next open on August 26, September 9 and 23, October 7 and 21, November 4 and 18 and December 2 and 16.
