i bet the youth of today can’t wait to go to this new school.
they will be able to learn valuable skills like..
    filling out jobseeker applications.
    filling out dissability benifit applications.

& learning to fend for themselves on the streets, because they was rejected for the 2 previous claims & now have no home to live in due to poverty.

don’t worry though, the government can still afford to spend over half the taxpayers money on war funding to give you something to watch on the idiot tv box.

It saddens me to say this but you’re right.

Leaving aside the social implications that you’ve raised, this whole project stinks on environmental grounds as well.

How does it stink pray tell?
Take a derelict area of old colliery waste, remove the contamination such as Japanese knotweed and asbestos, not to mention the drug needles and old sofas, rework the land to overcome landslides and flooding and you have prime land in the heart of a town dying for investment.

What would you rather have happen in dawley? Leave the area derelict?

Whilst the new school scheme still has a few unanswered questions, I think it will prove a wise move for dawley and Telford.
